I'm lucky to have two good mates who own their own water sports company based in St Andrews called Blown Away.

It's a great excuse to hang out at the beach, and I always manage to find some kind of toy in the back of their landy to play with.

Today it was the longboard. I have never been a skateboarder of any kind so this is completely new territory. I looked ridiculous and got some impressive grazes on my elbow.

But as my messing around continued started to very slowly and awkwardly navigate the board.

There were unfortunately a lot of pictures taken and I think I've decided this isn't going to be my sport!
