For various reasons the past few weeks have been quite tough and very busy. It can be so hard finding time to get out and into the fresh air. I hate making excuses as I always think you should be able to make time for something you love doing.
So with that in mind, after a fairly relaxed morning I filled up my camelbak and headed out to the Glendevon country park. It’s criminal that I live so close and yet have never run here before!
Within 2 minutes all the stresses had left my head and I was breathing in that beautiful Scottish air that I’ve come to love.
I found a really nice 6 mile route in the Castlehill area of the Glendevon Woodlands. It was a fairly well trodden rough route and was easy to follow so no navigating dramas.
I got round a lot quicker than I thought so in the next few weeks I’m looking to extend the route and explore more of the beautiful Glendevon
